My Birthday Parcel...

has arrived from Hazel. I'm going to do the right thing and hang out until my birthday to open it, I'm soo excited!!
Just wanted to let Edgar and Hazel know it had arrived safely, and a photo will be forthcoming once I open it on my birthday.

Lovely gift from Carol S received!

Carol was my partner -- how happy am I?! She stitched the Bianca Scissor Pocket by Cat's Whiskers Designs on 32 ct. White Belfast with Caron Waterlilies in Hyacinth and Moss. It is so delicate and delightful -- I love it! She also sent along some DMC scissors, a big piece of hand dyed lugana, a fat quarter, some pins and pretty purple ribbon, and a La-D-Da freebie. Thank you so much, Carol!

Lisa (SBBC) sent me a Christmas package, and I love it! She stitched me a deer from Prairie Schooler, Cranberry Christmas, and finished it as a hanging pillow. She added some great goodies: a piece of white 22 count aida, floss rings, ribbon an cord, a keyring that can be used to put something small in it, and Kreinik blending filament, blue. Thank you, Lisa!

Aaaaahhhhhh! Wow! Brilliant!

Hello all - it came! And I love it!! The lovely Diane stitched me not just one, but SIX separate birthday gifts - a whole set of smalls! I absolutely love them - Diane hope you got my (rather gushing) email :)

I don't want to upload too many photos to this blog, so here is a photo of the package, wrapped and unwrapped, and more photos are on my own blog if you're interested.

Birthday exchange from Sonda

So yesterday, I could finally open up my presents! And here's what came out of the big box from Sonda, for the SBBC:

Sonda made a "Christmas-in-May" present of it! So there was a Just Nan chart, DMC gold thread, a package of Kreinik metallics, a finishing fabric, napkins, a planner, lots of DMC varigated threads (which I didn't had yet) and this gorgeous Christmas ornament:

The ornament is so beuatifully stitched and finished! And Sonda even personalized it!

Sonda, thank you so much for this Christmas / Birthday present!
