E-Mails sent.....

Woo Hoo!!! All the emails have been sent into cyber space - whoosh ------ If you have not gotten one then please let me know and I will resend it.

I have had a couple of questions.

1). This year 2008 is for birthday surprises only - last year 2007 was a BD and Holiday surprises, now, if you want to surprise your partner for the holidays that would fine.

2). Once you have mailed your package to your partner then PLEASE post here so that I know that it is on its way and can check it off the list.

I am so pleased that everyone is excited and happy with the job I am doing.

Partners picked and e-mails are on the way...

We are a large group of 61 and I have "drawn" partners and will sending out e-mails today and tomorrow with their information. Here is a picture of the sophisticated way I chose names...


It is the infamous "Bowl of destiny"..... not very high tech but it works.

If you have not heard from me with an e-mail with your partners name and information by Thursday please let me know and I will resend the information.

Last Day to sign up....

Yes, we have arrived at the last day to sign up
and as we stand now we are quite a large group!!! :)

I will be sending out partner assignments over the next few days. I will be pulling names from a bag full of our names so it will be purely the luck of the draw. Nobody will know who is sending to whom except the sender, and me....but since I am so scatter brained sometimes.... I will probably forget...well, it could happen. :)
I will have a master list and have already started a notebook full of everyone so that reminder e-mails can be sent out the month before the recipients birthday.

I am anticipating a wonderful year and hope that everyone else is looking forward to it also.

Alomst December 7th....

Time is running out if you want to join!!! The last day to join is this Friday, December 7th. I am still adding names to the list and sending out the invites and emails to everyone. If you do not hear from me let me know.
Remember this is a new blog and that you will need to add this to your list of blogs.

The old Stitching Birthday Blog WILL close and access through that way will cease.

I am trying to tie up some loose ends from last year. If you have had problems or issues please let me know at edgarmatt @ gmail . com (no spaces) and I will try and make them right. This is being run on the honor system and nobody wants to be flaked on. Especially if they have fulfilled their end of the commitment AND this is a year long commitment. I will be sending out reminder emails throughout the year a month in advance of your partners birthday just a little reminder as everyone gets busy and 6 months down the road you may have forgotten.

Lets have fun with this and not flake and hurt someones feelings!!!!!!
