Replacement Package Sent

I sent off your replacement package today, via Priority Mail. The clerk said that you will most likely still receive your first package (mailed Jan 14, 2008), as she has been informed that mail going into Canada has been slow and delayed for quite some time now. She agreed that Priority Mail may help this one to arrive quicker. It's all up to Customs.
Anyhow... hope you enjoy.

I took my birthday package to the post office today. The lady in the PO estimated time of delivery between 6-10 days. Hope the birthday girl likes it.

Package Going Out

My birthday package is going out in today's mail. I must admit it will be late (: I have had the stitched piece done for some time now and have been adding other things to it. When my daughter got sick and I had to watch my grandson's for a week it just got pushed aside and didn't get mailed. Now I have been sick myself for days and today I feel somewhat human again so I will be mailing it out. Sorry for the delay and hope it arrives where it's destination quickly!

I received a birthday package from Natty today with a pretty biscornu and some stitching goodies in various shades of purple and lavender that I'm looking forward to using. I'll try to get some photos posted soon.

Don;t forget to post!!!!

Just a quick reminder about posting. You should post twice Once when you send off your BD package to your partner and the second time when you receive you BD exchange.
There are three reasons for these postings.

1) When you send it out....so I can mark it as sent and keep track of its progress.
2). So that your partner knows that you received you BD surprise,
as the mail system can get weird
and
3) So that everyone can see what is being sent and received.

I think #3 is very important as this is part of the fun with this exchange in seeing just what this talented group of stitchers comes up with. If for some reason you are unable to post just let me know and I can get out another invite to the group or look into what the problem might be.

Gifts from Lillie

Oh my gosh, I don't know what to say! Lillie, the items you sent to me were just beautiful, and so many things! Lillie sent me many threads, some Miyuko beads, a postcard from Malaysia, a coin purse, a LHN pattern, a needlebook, a scissor fob, and a beautiful purse-type bag with a drawstring closure. The fob, bag, and needlebook were all finished with matching material and the bag has a pin cushion in the center. And to top it off, a handmade birthday card! Lillie, thank you so much for all the wonderful gifts!
