Thank You Edda!

Today is my birthday, and I received this lovely package from Edda! It came a good week or so ago, but I did wait until today to open it! Edda writes that another package is coming too - something she stitched! Oh, lucky me! I cannot wait! Edda visited my wish list - so sweet of her. I just love it all Edda - thank you so much :-)

I've been blown away by the kindness of family, colleagues and friends old and new today. I've had such a fabulous birthday.

Here is my AMAZING birthday package from Kendra for the Stitching Blogger's Birthday Club.

As soon as I opened the package I recognised my three cats on my first ever floss tag. It's really lovely that Kendra chose to stitch something which has a lot of meaning to me :-)



Her kindness didn't stop there. She also included two Prairie Schooler charts from my wishlist, a copy of the JCS Ornament Preview Issue, an M Designs Needleroll chart, two metal floss rings, a cute little Doodle kit (so dinky), two skeins of amazing coloured floss (I can't wait to use these!), a postcard for my collection and a birthday card. Talk about spoilt!

All this excitement makes an old girl tired, so off to bed I go!

What a Nice Gift!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Sorry I'm a little late in posting...I've had family visiting since my Birthday and well...you know how all that goes...but I did take a second to thank Natasha that day for such a lovely surprise. The surprise being my Birthday gift was from her:-) Here is a picture of all the nice little gifties and most particularly the tin she stitched....Verrry cute!















Note the two (!!) Whitman's Candy tins. She found them for me (Yippy!!! They were a rare gem in this neck of the woods) along with a some silks, charts, needles and so many other little cute things. I feel so lucky to have her for my Secret Birthday gift. Thanks again Natasha!

thank you very much for such a wonderful birthday gift. I love each and every piece of it. I wanted to post a picture sooner but it was a stormy weather in the past few days so the light was bad. But I celebrated my birthday well and your gift has made this day even better, thank you so much.

A gift is flying to..........

Just wanted to let you know that I went to the post office this afternoon to mail a gift to someone, not telling who but hope it arrives quickly and safely. :-)

Look what Nela sent me for my birthday!

OMGosh! Nela, thank you so much! I love this! It is a coffee/teapot, it is unbelievable the detail this piece has. She also sent me coffee, candy, plus a silky bag filled with assorted ribbons, floss, beads, trinkets and crystals! Nela outdid herself! Thank you again! My neighbor speaks Spanish so I'm gonna get her to translate my card! Super job!!!!!
